About Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest

Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest was founded in Spokane in 1939. We serve individuals and families in 23 counties in eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Many we serve have physical or developmental disabilities, while others seek to overcome mental health impairments, a lack of work skills/history, a record of incarceration, or homelessness. Still others are transitioning from dependence on public assistance to self-sufficiency. Did you know? Out of every $1.00 we take in, more than 85 cents funds Goodwill's services. The majority of funding for our social service programs comes from the sale of donated items at our retail stores, Outlet store, and online store.
