As an attempt to reach out to younger audiences and regain its importance in the community, EL BARRIO THRIFT STORE is a retail charity provided by Saint Cecilia's Catholic Parish (125 E 105th St, New York, NY 10029). Located on 2123 2nd Avenue, New York NY, our goal is to connect the residents of East Harlem together by creating community cohesion through a one-of-a kind shopping experience. We provide a successful alternative of connecting everyone in the community while raising funds that allow us to locally fund projects in our rich in diversity neighborhood. Powered by the generousity of real New Yorkers and private corporate donors, El Barrio is an example of diversity, community, and hope working together.
