About Boomerangs by More Than Words

More Than Words is a non-profit social enterprise and job training program for youth ages 16-24 who are in foster-care, homeless, out-of-school, or in the court system, learn to run an online and retail bookstore while also getting full wrap-around supports to tackle the barriers from our state systems and take charge of their lives. Our clothing business began during the 2020 pandemic. This store is staffed by graduates of our program. With these jobs, young adults move forward on education and career pathways, stabilize from setbacks, or access career building management opportunities--all part of our commitment to sticking with youth for the long-haul. All revenue supports our youth empowerment mission!
