Known as the Miracle in the Desert, Sunshine Acres Children's Home began more than 60 years ago by Reverend Jim and Vera Dingman, who carried a desire to give their lives to caring for children who are hurting and a faith that God would provide all they needed. Today, Sunshine Acres still is a place of hope for children. No child is ever turned away for financial reasons.
